Sent: May 16, 2008
Please read what Howard has to say-he will be running as an independent in On. the next election for our cause- 'our English Language'.
Howard Galganov's latest Editorial (below) makes a very clear case for what more and more Canadians are starting to realize
You may or may not agree with what he has to say but I have to say that these messages go to many of my friends and acquaintances outside Quebec and especially in Western Canada and the groundswell of irritation and anger is growing

Enough With The Guilt Already
Thursday, May 15, 2008
I was recently reproached by a well educated perfectly bilingual, youngish French woman who lives in Cornwall, which is the major city in the Riding of Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry where I will be running as an Independent Candidate in the next federal election.
She had various personal concerns regarding my position on French language education and French language day care. Her fear is that I will push hard to end public funding for both if I am elected.
During our ?civil? conversation, it was impossible for me not to feel her disdain for my overall campaign to WIN BACK CANADA, which includes ending Official Bilingualism, ending transfer payments, and showing Quebec the door.
And I felt badly for it.
I felt sorry for her trepidation. If I were in her position, I too would not want someone coming into my life to take away something that I currently have.
After speaking with her for what was only a few moments, but felt like a few hours, I spent the better part of the week feeling badly for making her feel bad. Then it hit me.
Making me feel guilty for not wanting to pay for someone else?s beliefs, lifestyle, culture and language is what has got Canada into this mess in the first place.
This guilt strategy is the glue that keeps us bonded to these disastrous linguistic and cultural policies that are killing Canada.
Why should I want to finance French schools and French day care centers? What does it give me, or the more than 97% of Canadians who live outside of Quebec who are not French speakers?
In Quebec, the government, which includes ALL of the political parties with the exception of Allen Nutik?s Affiliation Quebec, is going out of its way to eradicate the English language, English history, English presence and the English school system without even a scintilla of guilt.
WORSE ? Quebec is doing this with the blessing of Ottawa.
So why should I or anyone else in the rest of Canada feel guilty for not wanting our (English) tax dollars to go to French language services?
My feeling is thus: If you want to live in French, do so on your own dollar. If you want French schools, hospitals and clinics, do so on your own dollar. Why should I pay?
More to the point: Why should I be made to feel guilty for not wanting to pay?
Because Canada has allowed Quebec to get away with institutionalized racism against its English speaking minority, all but banning the corporate and government use of the English language, Quebec has created an ?out? for Canada?s linguistic conundrum.
If you want to live in French on the public purse, move to Quebec. What can be simpler than that?
As I have written and stated many times, I would NEVER support a Quebec style Bill 101 law against French speakers in the rest of Canada the way Quebec discriminates against English speakers in Quebec.
I would NEVER support any principle that would take away a person?s right to have French schools, hospitals, signs, businesses etcetera, as long as I don?t have to pay for any of it.
There are many English speakers in the rest of Canada who feel unaffected by Official Bilingualism, especially on the West Coast, who tell me that Official Bilingualism is good for Canada.
So, when I ask them why Official Bilingualism is good for Canada, their answer is ?because?. But because isn?t an answer.
They, like most Canadians have been brainwashed into believing that Official Bilingualism is somehow part of the glue that keeps the Canadian fabric together. And not supporting Official Bilingualism is just downright anti-Canadian.
What they don?t realize, is that Official Bilingualism is the solvent that is dissolving the glue that keeps the fabric of Canada together.
I have to thank this young woman who made me feel guilty for making her feel bad. Because of her, I no longer feel sorry or guilt for not wanting to finance someone else?s culture.
AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.
If you want to WIN BACK CANADA, and want to help in this campaign, just click on the red link under my signature to learn more about my platform and how to donate to the cause.
I am very grateful to the people who bought CANADA IS NOT A BILINGUAL COUNTRY and the ANGRYPHONE DVD.
I am grateful to the people who sent in donations of $10 or more for a signed copy of the ?Together: LET?S WIN BACK CANADA? campaign platform.
I am sending out another 5000 four-color fliers, this time to South Dundas. This is where your financial support is going. Not only will we make a difference by standing together, we can indeed WIN BACK CANADA.
